Transportation

Do you need transportation to your hotel or back to the airport? 

We have made arrangements for transportation from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the hotels, which will make it easy for you to get to your respective accommodations. Each country manager has been provided with information about the private bus arrangement that goes from the airport to the hotels and back. In the event that you are not included in the team's transportation arrangements, you can access travel instructions on how to get from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Fredrikstad and back here. The bus will stop in walking distance of the hotels. Price per person 369 NOK, Seniors (67+) 279 NOK. Departure every hour (10 past the hour). Transfers from the hotels to the arena

When travelling to the arena, we recommend using public transport. Bus number 1 Sarpsborg departs in proximity to the hotels. Departure every 15 minutes. Østfoldhallen is stop no 10 (8 minutes). Be out early.Link: Entur.no 

All participants  can travel free with Østfold Kollektivtrafikk (ØKT) if they have receiced a day ticket for their nations head coach.  


Parking

If you arrive by car, there are plenty of parking places available close to the hotel. There will also be parking places close to the arena if you choose not to use public transportation. The two parking places below are both close to the hotels

Parking in a parking garage

Prices for parking in Apenesfjellet, St. Hansfjellet

  • All day: Free 2 hours - then NOK 30 per hour
  • Saturday/Sunday/holidays at 09.00–24.00: Free  
  • All day at 20–08: Free 2 hours – then NOK 30 per hour. Max NOK 75.
  • Electric car with electric car agreement in Fredrikstad P-app:  50 percent discount 
  • Charging (Apenesfjellet and St. Hansfjellet only): NOK 25 per started hour

You do not have to register your car to get 2 hours for free. The camera registers your car when entering and exiting.
